Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has revealed how she hated two of her songs recommended by her then-manager, which gave her hit records.
The singer made this known in a recent interview on Cool FM where she disclosed that two of her hit songs, titled ‘Eminado’ and ‘Dorobucci,’ were songs she never liked.
However, she claimed Don Jazzy insisted she put the songs out because, according to her, he claimed they were what Nigerians wanted, which then became a success after they were released.
She said, “I hated Eminado when I first heard it. Don Jazzy played it for me; I was like, I don’t like it, and he said it’s going on my album, and I said no, he was like, this album is not coming out if you don’t put Eminado in it. And I asked what Eminado was all about, and he said he understood the market.
“You just have to go with Jazzy, because that’s Don Jazzy. Now I have to perform it every time because everyone is waiting for it. I did not like Dorobucci either; everybody loved it.
"I was the last person to do my verse, and I did not like it. I was like, nobody was going to like it, and then the whole Africa loved it.”
