Ghanaian outfit Reformers Judo Club organized a demonstration event in commemoration of World Judo Day.
The day, celebrated annually on October 28, saw the club train athletes, showcase judo, and raise awareness for the sport, which is gradually gaining popularity in Ghana.
The event took place at Newtown College in Accra, and attracted several residents and bystanders.

"The program has been very amazing, we least expected this number," Club President Mrs. Victoria Adu-Amoah Foli, who also serves as a Prison Officer, told JoySports.
"They were all rushing on me to join Judo. I am encouraging everybody to introduce Judo in their schools, offices in order to keep fit."
Practitioners, coaches, officials, and families were encouraged to view judo as a means for personal growth and social harmony, recognizing it as a path toward a balanced and fulfilling life.
