Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey, came off the bench to score a spectacular trademark goal to help Arsenal overcome Nottingham Forest on Saturday in the Premier League.
The 31-year-old second half substitute scored from long range to double the Gunners’ lead at the Emirates Stadium and set them on course to a comfortable 3-0 win to get their title challenge back on track.
Bukayo Saka opened the scoring after 15 minutes, exchanging passes with Martin Odegaard before beating two defenders and slamming a strike into the top corner.
Partey doubled the hosts' lead when he curled in from 20 yards, before youngster Ethan Nwaneri added a third late on to secure the win.
The goal was the Ghanaian’s second of the season in 12 Premier League games. He is enjoying a consistent run of games this season and has started more league games (11) than he did last season (9).
Arsenal remain fourth on the table with 22 points, one behind struggling Man City in second and six adrift of leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
