Maryland came alive in an atmosphere of reverence, celebration, and divine gratitude last weekend as Rev. Emmanuel Agormeda celebrated 50th birthday.
It was a night of deep worship, joyful praise, and heartfelt tributes as gospel musicians Sonnie Badu, Rev. Esinu Debrah, Herty Corgie, RichieO, Obenewa, and Dorothy Oteng took turns to bless the event.
The jubilee celebration kicked off with a powerful act of service, as Rev. Emmanuel Agormeda and his team visited the Craig A. Moe Multi-Purpose Center in Laurel, Maryland. There, they served hot meals, distributed gifts, and fellowshipped with temporary homeless individuals—demonstrating Christ’s love through tangible acts of kindness.
This outreach mirrors Rev. Agormeda’s ongoing commitment to community impact, as he continues to serve the DMV area bi-monthly through the Grace2Grace Charisma Food Bank, offering drive-through grocery giveaways as a means of both meeting practical needs and sharing the Gospel with all who come.
The weekend-long celebration continued with a power-packed Praise Night held at Grace2Grace Centre, where worshipers from around the world gathered to honor the journey and legacy of Rev. Agormeda.
Adding elegance and exclusivity to the celebration, a Jubilee Dinner was hosted in Rev. Agormeda’s honor. This black-tie event welcomed high-profile delegates and distinguished guests from across the globe—spiritual leaders, government officials, and business executives who traveled from various nations to pay tribute to a man whose influence transcends borders. Esteemed guests included: Apostle General and Mama Rita Sam Korankye Ankrah, Hon. Keith Sydnor – Mayor of Laurel, MD, Council Member Jeffrey Mills – City of Laurel, Rev. Dalkeith & Mama Nandy Amanor – UK Head of Missions, Rev. Jannie & Mama Faith Ngwale – Conquerors Through Christ Ministries, South Africa, Rev. Paul Amoako (Ghana), Rev. Dr. Jason Renville, Rev. Richard & Bernice Aryeetey – Praise Gate Temple, London, UK, Hon. Naa Torshie (Ghana), North American Missions Heads – Royalhouse Chapel,
The evening was filled with emotional speeches, artistic performances, and a reflective journey through Rev. Agormeda’s years of ministry, leadership, and impact.
AGOR@50 stands as a shining testament to what it means to live a life of purpose, humility, and global significance. As the sounds of celebration echoed and prayers of blessing were spoken, one truth rang clear: Rev. Emmanuel Agormeda’s best years are still ahead.
