As Ghanaians grapple with the rising cost of living, Joy FM is set to commence a timely and impactful campaign this August, dubbed Joy Sustainability Month, aimed at unpacking the root causes of everyday challenges and offering practical, sustainable solutions for real lives.
Joy Sustainability Month officially kicks off on Monday, 4th August 2025.
From skyrocketing rent and housing difficulties, to soaring food prices, congested roads, and ever-increasing electricity bills, the average Ghanaian faces a daily grind that strains not just their finances, but their well-being.
But what if these problems are all connected? And what if there are real, local solutions that can ease the burden?
Throughout August, Joy FM will dedicate four weeks of in-depth programming and expert-led discussions on its flagship Super Morning Show and other platforms.
The campaign will explore critical sustainability questions: How can you still afford a home in Ghana? Why are food prices so high, and what can be done? How can transport costs be reduced? What alternative power options are available for Ghanaian homes?
This is more than just conversation; it is a solutions-driven campaign anchored on sustainability as a tool for economic empowerment.
As Joy FM puts it, “Sustainability isn’t just about the environment, it’s about sustaining your wallet, your family’s future, and Ghana’s prosperity.”
The initiative is spearheaded by Joy Business, and proudly supported by Fidelity Bank and PwC.
