Effiduase Senior High Commercial School delivered a commanding performance in the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), securing their place in the one-eighth stage with a convincing win over Hope College and Agona Senior High Technical School.
At the end of the contest, Effiduase SHS Commercial posted 49 points, Hope College followed with 26 points, while Agona SHTS finished with 41 points.
The contest brought together schools with different levels of NSMQ experience — Effiduase SHS Commercial, with over a decade of consistent appearances; Hope College, making their third entry; and Agona SHTS, making their debut on the national stage.

Right from Round One, Effiduase displayed composure and strategy, confidently navigating through the questions and maintaining the lead as the competition progressed. Their experience was evident in their quick recall and calm coordination, even as their opponents pushed to close the gap.
By the final round, it was clear that Effiduase SHS Commercial had the contest firmly under control, sealing their qualification with a strong finish and reaffirming their reputation as seasoned competitors in the NSMQ arena.
The victory sends Effiduase SHS Commercial into the one-eighth stage, where they will look to continue their momentum and push further into the championship rounds.
