GRA Royal Ladies closed out a remarkable 2025 campaign by clinching the Knockout Championship title with a determined 2-1 victory over Reformers on Saturday at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium, completing a season that firmly establishes them as the dominant force in Ghanaian women’s hockey.
The champions showed their trademark quality in the final, taking control through league top scorer Mavis Berko, whose two goals underlined her status as the competition’s most lethal attacker.
Reformers pulled one back through Rosemond Quansah, but GRA Royal Ladies held their nerve and their structure to see out the win and lift the knockout trophy.
This title triumph adds yet another achievement to what has been a flawless year. GRA Royal Ladies went unbeaten in the league, winning all ten matches to finish with a 100% record, an exceptional show of consistency, strength and tactical discipline.
Their dominance extended beyond the league as well. Earlier in the year, they captured the T. Tommy Tournament in Kumasi and the Fetu Afahye Tournament, reinforcing a season defined by excellence across every competition they entered.
