The Wenchi Traditional Council in the Bono Region has suspended Nana Akora Tua Adutwum Kyeremeh Siasaa Kufour IV, the Twafohene (sub-chief) of the Council, indefinitely.
Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III, the Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area and President of the Council announced the suspension at the council’s meeting at Wenchi.
Accordingly, he said the Twafo stool of the council had also been overturned, explaining that the action was to investigate some allegations of breaches of the traditional stool leveled against the embattled sub-chief, including land issues.
Osagyefo Tabrako III called on the public and media to avoid dealing with Nana Kuffour IV as a sub-chief of the council.
He ordered Nana Kuffour IV to refrain from posing himself as a sub-chief or using the traditional title to avoid further sanctions.
