Out-of-contract forward Kofi Nti Boakye is among a West African trio training with South African side Ajax Cape Town.
The former Asante Kotoko marksman is on a mission cast in the mode of trials to save his career at the PSL club after his sojourns in Libya and Egypt since leaving the Ghanaian champions proved unsuccessful.
Boakye left Asante Kotoko in a controversial free agent move to sign a lucrative deal with Ahli Tripoli in 2013 but was released after five months into his three-year deal with the club.
The 27-year-old found solace after his Libya troubles with Egyptian Premier League side Misr El Makasa but the two-year contract signed in January 2014 also got abrogated before its end.
Boakye is now on a two-week mission to impress Ajax coach Roger De Sa alongside Nigerian duo, Idris Ahmed and Ehiz Guobadia in order to be handed a contract by the Urban Warriors for the 2015/16 season.
Ajax Cape Town currently lie 5th on the PSL table.
