The number 100 is always special, and this weekend the First Capital Plus Premier League inched closer to that number of goal scorers.
When Inter Allies Goeckel Ahottor scored in Tema, he became the 97th player to net this season's league.
No player has scored more than 10 goals after 12 games, but Gilbert Fiamenyo has given indication that his season will not finish that way.
"I am very sure by the next five games I would pass the ten goals mark. That is my confidence," he told Supersport in an interview after Allies beat his side 2-1 in Tema.
Close on his eight goals are three others with a goal less each, led by the teenage Noah Martey of Bechem United.
Kotoko's Toure is going up, too, after scoring his fifth goal of the campaign at the Sunday. Elsewhere, Samuel Kyere’s opening goal on Sunday turns out to be the first conceded by Aduana after 477 minutes of six homes games this season.
