Tetteh Luggard was heavily booed at the Tema Park at the weekend after conceding the goal that lost Hearts three points.
The 'keeper was accused by fans of being unfocused, and former national shotstopper Eddie Ansah has weighed in.
"All along I have been saying that Luggard’s problem is psychological, so we need the supporters to help him," the former Black Star said.
Hearts, now 14th on the log, had turned to their former number one after Soulama Abdoulaye had gone to Burkina Faso to feature in their international friendlies.
Ansah went on: "Even if he makes a mistake, they need not to shout at him, but they need to support him."
Hearts next games are against Olympique de Ngor, Wa All Stars, Olympics and AshGold.
