The local Blacks beat promoted Premier League side Great Olympics 3-2 in a warm up match played at the El Wak Park in Accra on Thursday.
The team leaves Accra on Saturday to play South American giants Argentina in Cordoba on 30 September.
Obed Ansah, Kofi Nti Boakye and captain Edmund Owusu-Ansah scored for the side that needs to trim the rough edges ahead of the tie against the local Albiceleste side.
The local side are also preparing for the qualifiers to the 2011 CHAN tournament in Sudan.
