A statement issued by Adwoa Gyasiwaa Agyeman, Press aide to Mr Kyerematen in Accra on Tuesday said the visit followed a 14-day successful tour of the three Northern regions which witnessed his endorsement by most polling station executives.
It said Mr Kyerematen is expected to be consistent with his message of renewal that has energised the grassroots of the party.
"Alan has reiterated his intention of using the polling Station executives as the bedrock of his national campaign when voted as flagbearer of the NPP.
"Again, Alan is expected to repeat his promise of setting up a welfare fund to cater for polling station executives, who in the course of party work, became distressed," the statement said.
The statement said as usual, Mr Kyerematen would undertake a walk-about in commercial and densely populated areas to attract party canvassers and floating voters as well.Source: GNA
