Herbalife Ghana Limited, a global nutrition company has presented apparels to the Kumasi Asante Kotoko team.
This is in fulfillment of the company's partnership agreement with the club.
The apparels which comprised Polo shirts, training jerseys, training Bibs, Cones and Bags were presented when Herbalife hosted Kumasi Asante Kotoko on May 21 at Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.
The Country director of Herbalife Ghana, Frederick Amissah made the presentation on behalf of the company.
He disclosed the gesture will go a long way to support the team during its trainings and also motivate the team to reach higher height in the current league season and beyond.
He said the principles of healthy balanced nutrition and regular exercise are at the core of Herbalife philosophy, which is expected to be translated to transform the club and give the players the needed energy to recover quickly after each match.
Currently, the company sponsors over 200 world class athletes including 2014 FIFA World Best Player, Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as some selected European clubs such asValencia of Spain and German side FC Schalke.
The General Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Mr. Opoku Nti thanked Herbalife for being supportive and delivering on their promise.
He was of the view that this will go a long way to help the club in the 2016/ 2017 league season.
He further promised that the team will work hard to deliver nothing but the best to reclaim the top spot.
Kotoko last year March signed a two-year renewable non-financial sponsorship deal with Herbalife, as the official nutrition partner of the club .
