Mantrac, leader in the Supply of road construction equipment has organized a days’ seminar in Accra for its customers in the road construction industry.
The seminar which was under the theme “CAT Road Construction Complete Solutions” was attended by top executives from the Ministry of Roads and Highways, Members of the ASROC(Association of Road Contractors) and PROCA(Progressive Road Contractors Association as well us customers of Mantrac Ghana across the country.
Addressing Participants at the Seminar, the Managing Director of Mantrac, and Mr.Emad Adeeb noted that the seminar was timely and relevant due to the enormous road construction projects like the Circle Interchange, Kasoa overpass, and the Cocoa roads projects currently under construction with 80% CAT construction Machines.
He stressed that Mantrac Ghana over the years has built a reputation for the supply of high-quality road construction equipment that has contributed significantly to the infrastructural development of the nation.
“In offering the best options to our customers we don’t only sell new machines but also Rental Machines and Cat Certified Used Machines aside the mining equipment, forklifts and the legendary CAT power of generating sets,” he said.
Mr Adeeb said: “In today’s competitive world of construction, contractors are facing a lot of challenges to maximize their productivity and lower their operating cost and that is where CAT Equipment comes in”. We make progress possible.
Additionally, the seminar is an opportunity to hear the voice of our customers and serve them better.
Mr. Adeeb also mentioned some of the major investments that the company is undertaking to serve customer better, this includes $40m Caterpillar Engine Rebuild Center under construction These investments will support Ghana and the west Africa Sub-region. “This project comprises over 26 acres, with 10,000 square metre repair centre and 5,000 square metre warehouses is expected to be completed by close of the year,” he added
The Deputy Minister of Roads and Highways Mr. Adjei Mensah in his address Praise Mantrac Ghana for maintaining its dominance in dealing in earthmoving and construction equipment in the country over the past 78 years.
The Minister appealed to Mantrac Ghana to explore the business opportunities and arrange for flexible terms for the road contractors to purchase construction equipment that will enable them to improve their delivery within the road construction industry.
He urged the company to strengthen its presence nationwide and continuously improve on its after-sales services to ensure that contractors who buy their products benefit from its rich experience and expertise.
