The third open of Velocity Cycling Club Invitational Road Race will be held on Sunday June 19
The event will be an individual/team race covering a total distance of 103km with the following route: Adenta, Dodowa, Ayikumah, Larteh, Mamfe, Adawso, (turn around at Adawso roundabout), Mamfe, Aburi, Kitasi and Adenta.
The race will be fully supported with Police Escort, Ambulance and support vehicles.
Prizes will include cash prizes from 1st to 10th positions. Prize amounts and rules will be announced minimum one week before the race date.
Registration will open from 5th June (two weeks before the race). The details of how to register (registration process) will also be confirmed then. Registration will close 24 hours prior to the race. There will be a race entry fee of 20GHS per rider payable either on the day or via MTN Mobile Money in advance.
On race day, all riders will converge at Legon Botanical Garden from 6.30am to complete registration.
This will be followed by race briefing at 7.30am, departure from Legon gardens to start Point, Adenta Police station, will be at 8am.
