Nii Ayibonte II, Gbese Mantse has sent a congratulatory message to the newly appointed Interim Management Committee (IMC) of Hearts of Oak.
The Premiership champions named a five-member IMC on Wednesday to steer the affairs of the Club for the upcoming football season under the Chairmanship of Steve Akwetey.
Nii Ayibonte II, formerly known as Thomas Okine and the immediate past Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Club in a congratulatory statement pledged his confidence in the new Management team.
“As former colleagues, I can vouch for your commitment and dedication towards the Club as well as the rich and varied experience you have individually acquired in Club management.”
Nii Ayibonte advised the new IMC against divisive tendencies and urged them to forge a common ground in running the Club during this ‘difficult’ period.
The Gbese Mantse commended the Board for making a rightful choice and pledged his support for the team anytime he is called upon to assist.
The new IMC has Mr Steve Akwetey as Chairman with Nr Frank Nwokolo Nelson, Maxwell Addo, Kofi Anokye Darko and Ashford Tettey Oku as members.
