Ghana striker Jordan Ayew bagged his second goal in three games for Swansea City who completed a superb comeback win at Watford.
Jordan scored last week in the 1-1 stalemate against Crystal Palace and he found the back of the net again on Saturday as the Welsh club beat Watford 2-1 and give new manager Carlos Carvalhal victory in his first game.
Swansea seemed to be heading for defeat as time ticked down on them at Vicarage Road with the hosts leading through Andre Carrillo’s 11th-minute opener.
But Jordan Ayew restored parity with a close-range effort. This was after he struck the bar from 25 yards in the first half.
Substitute Luciano Narsingh sealed victory for the Swans in the 90th minute to spark wild celebrations in the away end dugout.
The result lifts Swansea off the bottom of the table and marked the side’s first win away from home since August, as well as being the first time they have won from a losing position all season.
