The Progressive Peoples Party is asking the leadership of the Convention Peoples Party to halt any further attacks on its flagbearer Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom and rather deal with its own party’s self-inflicted wounds.
The leadership of the PPP is mostly made up of members of the CPP.
The party in a statement warned the leadership, including Chairperson Samia Nkrumah to with immediate effect desist from bad mouthing those who made it possible for the CPP to be brought back into the country’s political landscape at a time most of them were busy seeking their own personal fortunes abroad.
The PPPs National Secretary Kofi Asamoah-Siaw said they were rather going to concentrate their attention on very important issues.
“We have remained focused. We are full of energy and full of strength. Our people are on the ground organizing and that is what we want to spend our energy and not constantly have to have the opportunity to making reference to some sought of attacks by the CPP.
“I think it is high time they contrite on what they want to do.
He said their target is the ruling NDC and the NPP and not the CPP.
