Hundreds of residents in Kumasi converged at the Kumasi City Mall, Saturday, for the biggest fitness and wellness event ever, the Luv FM Fitness Walk

The mid-year edition of the quarterly exercise to promote a healthy lifestyle for a productive year saw patrons take part in aerobic sessions to prepare the mind and body.
The young and old from all walks of life, including the corporate world, walked through principal streets of Kumasi from the Kumasi Mall through to Ahodwo, Adum and Asafo.

Then came the time for the aerobics session led by experienced fitness instructors from Pulse Fitness Gym.
The muscle stretching exercise alone which lasted for about 30 minutes after the walk was followed by similar exercises for the tummy.
Officials of SAQS Healthcare located inside the Mall offered free consultancy and screening as participants took the advantage to check their sugar level, blood pressure, among others.

Patrons were later served with refreshment with assorted fruit beverages, 'sobolo', porridge and bread, among others to replenish lost energy.
The climax of the event was an opportunity for participants to enjoy a discounted movie session at the plush Watch and Dine Cinema inside the Kumasi Mall.

Organizers, Luv 99.5 FM with the support of Aspire Foods, Bel Aqua mineral water, Vodafone, IPMC and other sponsors gave out prizes to outstanding patrons.
Other sponsors are Bookcare, IPMC, Jozzy Decore, Seven Seas Jointcare Advanced and Larmak Prostate Care.
