Ghana Police Service played a determined game to hold Ghana Prisons Service to a 2-2 drawn game in their Security Services Sports Association (SESSA) Hockey match played at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Pitch in Accra on Tuesday.
The game, which was started on a fast note saw both teams making incursions into their opponent’s vital area but failed to score.
Prisons turned the heat on their opponents and snatched the leader through Emmanuel Nartey in the 15th minute.
Police launched an onslaught to equalize but their efforts were thwarted as Nartey increased the tally for Prisons in the 35th minute.
The efforts of the policemen were however rewarded as Francis Ackah and Franklin Turkson scored for them in the 43d and 68th minutes respectively.
Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) walloped Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) 3-0, while CEPS Women trounced GAF 7-0.
