Four Black Stars players could not train with the team on Monday morning after picking various degrees of injury in the team’s pre camping tour of Abu Dhabi.
Rabiu Mohammed and Albert Adomah sustained minor injuries in the team’s final warm up game against Tunisia which they won 4-2 on Sunday.
Defender Isaac Vorsah who was withdrawn by Coach Kwasi Appiah prior to the Tunisian friendly following pains felt in his thigh has been sent to a hospital in Abu Dhabi for further treatment.
“He has been taken to the hospital by team Doctor Adam Baba for further treatments to check on his injury and we are hoping it is nothing serious but just as a precautionary measure we had to send him and Rabiu Mohammed to make sure everybody is fit,” Ghana FA spokesperson Ibrahim Sannie Daara told Joy Sports.
Midfielder Anthony Annan could also not train with the team due to a swollen ankle.
The Spain-based player has been receiving intensive medical care and is hopeful to recover fully before the team’s first game against DR Congo in South Africa on January 20.
