The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced activities for the Black Stars ahead of their departure for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The GFA has lined up some important activities on Thursday for the team before it departs to Abu Dhabi on Friday for the training camp ahead of the competition in South Africa.
The entire Black Stars squad, technical and management team will visit His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama at the Castle Osu on Thursday morning.
Immediately after the event the squad will move to the Teshie Orphanage where they will make a donation of various items to the school to help in the upkeep of the orphans.
The Black Stars will also pay a visit to the offices of Zoom Lion, to launch the ‘A Clean Ghana is a Victorious Ghana’ campaign to promote cleanliness and healthy living among Ghanaians as part of the team’s social responsibility programme.
But first at 9:30 am, DSTV will make a presentation to all the players of the Black Stars players and technical team before they visit H.E. John Dramani Mahama.
The GFA will provide a bus for the media to join the Black Stars convoy for the all the activities on Thursday.
All media personnel interested in covering the event must report at the GFA headquarters in Ridge by 9:30am on Thursday to join the bus for the activities.
There will be interview opportunities for the media to interact with players and technical team during all the events for the day.
