Ghana lost all three fights to Congo in the Men's Kumite Team at the Bukom Boxing Arena on Saturday.
Saturday's result means Ghana are out of contention for any medal in Karate Do.
Ghana has been eliminated from the Men's Kata Individual, Women's Kata Individual, Men's Kata Team, Women's Kata Team, Men's Kumite Team, Men's Kumite Individual, Women's Kumite Individual, and the Women's Kumite Team.
Humu Yusuf Zeba, Christopher Kabutey Botchway, Felix Donkor, Gideon Ashley, Edmund Amoako, and Dickson Acolatse, who carried Ghana's medal hopes, all failed to make it to the medal zone.
After Saturday's defeat to Congo, Christopher Kabutey Botchway, told that JoySports Ghana under-prepared for the tournament.
"I think the lack of exposure and experience, caused this. The Egyptians go for fights, they go for a lot of championships so they learn and improve for these tournaments."
Kabutey said the situation makes it impossible for Ghanaians to compete in the sport.
"As for our team, we fight with only one person in a year. And with that, you cannot compete with someone who has multiple fights from different competitions" he concluded.
