Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored twice to help FC Aarau thrash FC Stade Lausanne-Ouchy at the Stadion Brugglifeld in the Swiss second-tier league.
The 24-year-old, who joined the club this summer on a two-year deal after being released by FC Zurich, opened the scoring in a scrappy fashion.
Following a cross into the 18-yard box, Ghanaian compatriot and center-back David Acquah forced a save from goalkeeper Da Silva before Barnieh pounced on a rebound around the goalmouth area to put FC Aarau ahead in the 22nd minute.
The forward also latched onto a tackled ball in his path, where he raced forward before unleashing a deft outside-of-the-boot finish for his second on the night around the hour mark.
Valon Fazliu netted in injury time, tucking home after a mix-up in the box to seal the victory for the home side.
Barnieh has now scored four goals this campaign as FC Aarau continue their five-game winning run and comfortably sit at the summit with 15 points, four clear of second-placed FC Vaduz.
Up next for the league leaders is an away trip to Rapperswil.
