The Baatsonaa Divisional Police Command in Accra have arrested two Ghanaians suspected to have killed a Chinese engineer.
Ren Guang Fa was found dead in his room on April 13 under very suspicious circumstances.
The suspects Ekow Korsa 23 and Michael Mensah 22 were arrested upon a tip off.
At press briefing on Monday, Chief Superintendent Felix K. Cosmos said suspect Korsah was arrested on April 16, 2017 but initially denied knowledge of the incident.
A search was conducted at his home in Lashibi where a phone said to be that of the deceased person was found.
"The suspect consequently broke down and admitted the offence and mentioned suspect Michael Mensah a co-worker of the company as an accomplice," he explained.
Mensah was also arrested on April 20 at his hideouts at Teshie in Accra. He also admitted to committing the offence and corroborated the circumstances under which the offence was committed.
He would later lead the police to his hometown in the Central Region where a laptop belonging to the deceased was also retrieved.
The two will soon be arraigned for prosecution on charges of murder.
