Barcelona struck five in an incredible first-half display, as the Catalans pulled five points clear at the top of La Liga with a routine 6-0 win over Getafe.
Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both bagged a brace, with Neymar and Xavi Hernandez also finding the net as Luis Enrique’s side put down a marker - and extended their lead over Real Madrid - in the race for the title.
Enrique made four changes to the side that won Saturday’s derby against Espanyol, with starting places handed to Marc Bartra, Adriano, Rafinha and Jeremy Mathieu.
It took just nine minutes for Barca to take the lead, as Messi chipped a Panenka past Vicente Guaita.
With the score 5-0 at the break the Catalans could have inflicted more damage on the visitors, however Barca took their foot off the pedal in the second half - coasting to a 6-0 victory at Camp Nou.
However, the quality of Barcelona’s first-half play was enough to suggest that the Catalans are indeed front-runners to clinch this season’s Spanish league title - with Enrique’s side set for a heavyweight clash against Bayern Munich in the Champions League next week.
