Ashantigold Coach Bashir Hayford is confident of winning the team's fourth top flight title with three games to end the 2014/15 First Capital Plus Premier league.
The Obuasi-based side have opened a three point gap at the summit of the table and need three extra points from the remaining nine to win the league.
Hayford and his team have tricky games to deal with: first away to Berekum Chelsea before facing relegation threatened Great Olympics on the final day.
Bashir, who is seeking to win his second league title after guiding Kotoko to the crown in 2008, is optimistic of a smooth completion.
“We are leading by three points and this is just a match, we need three more points to win,” he told Joy Sports
“We have one home game and two matches away, that is Berekum Chelsea and Olympics. We will make sure we get a favourable result in Berekum so that our last game which we will be at home will see us win the title.”
Ashantigold’s next match is against Berekum Chelsea at the Berekum Park.
