Brazilian media suggest, external Al-Hilal coach Jorge Jesus is the favourite for the Brazil job.
They tried and failed to appoint Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti before hiring Dorival.
The Athletic reported, external on Thursday that Brazil were keen to talk to Ancelotti about being in charge at the 2026 World Cup.
