Former premier league side Tema Youth drew goalless with Tudu Mighty Jets in match day two of the Poly tank national middle league at the Robert Mensah Stadium to maintain the top spot with four points.
Elsewhere Abedi Pele’s Nania FC lost by 2-3 to TT brothers’ Pure Joy FC at the Essipong Stadium.
The last round of matches come off this weekend with Mighty Jets playing Nania FC at the Sekondi Stadium whilst Tema Youth will lock horns with Pure Joy FC at the Robert Mensah Stadium to decide who makes it to the top the premier league.
In Zone Three, Tarkwa Medeama FC thrashed Westham FC by 5-2 at the Tema Park to displace former premier league side Dwarfs at the top of the league table.
Dwarfs beat Minestars 1-0 at the Ohene Djan Stadium. The decider this Sunday will be a battle between Medeama FC and Westham at the Ohene Djan Stadium. The two teams have the same number of points with goal difference separating them.
In the other game, Minestars will play WestHam at the Tema Park.
Meanwhile Bazooka FC will have the chance to play in the Division One League play-offs for a place in the premiership after their protest against Samba FC over the use of player Prince Kwakye was upheld by the Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee.
The ruling awarded Bazooka FC three points and three goals for the match and Samba FC have been ducked three points and three goals. Bazooka FC now gains entry into Zone I of the promotional league.
