Highlife and Afrobeats artiste, KiDi says Ghanaians are not obliged to buy a seat for his 'Live With KiDi' concert especially if they do not have the means to do so.
In an interview with Andy Dosty, on Daybreak Hitz. on Hitz FM, he said that fans who want to enjoy the concert despite the prices can purchase standard tickets, worth GH¢100.
"First of all, there are different packages and these are table packages. When you go to nightclubs, they sell tables for different price packages. They have the 5k table, 10k table, and 15k table. So, you will have to buy what you can afford."
"Apart from table packages, there are regular prices for people who do not want a table, because they are alone, so the table prices are packages meant for groups of people," the 'Touch It' hitmaker said.
KiDi explained that the tables worth GH¢10,000 and above all come with benefits including champagne bottles, cognac, whiskey, tequila, mixers, and water, adding that, friends can contribute to buy any table of their choice.
His statement comes after he received numerous criticisms on the prices of the tables for his upcoming ‘Live With Kidi’ concert slated for July 29.

KiDi, however, apologized to individuals who felt offended by his comments on social media in response to their criticism.
He said that his comments were not meant to disrespect anyone but were made from a place of pain and disappointment due to the insults hurled at him and his mother.
“A lot of times, people forget that we are not robots. We feel emotions just like everybody else. We go through all the emotions people go through, sometimes even more. You see it’s painful, it’s my job that I do. I mean I wasn’t asked to do it, but I love it and I do it for people to be happy."
"I do these things for myself and for people to be happy. That comment wasn’t made to disrespect anybody, if anybody felt disrespected I apologize."
