The bitter struggle between herdsmen and farmers will not die-down soon as chiefs and people of Drobonso in the Sekyere Afram Plains District vow to forcibly evict the nomadic herdsmen from the area.
Drobonsohene, Nana Dwamena Dankwa, says the failure of the state security agencies to act on the demands of the community could fuel chaos.
He has since threatened to lead a campaign to remove the nomadic herdsmen forcibly.
His threat comes as armed robbers whose members are believed to be of Fulanis attacked and killed two police officers and wounded another.
The security personnel were on a routine patrol duty on the Kumawu-Drobonso road, Thursday morning.
Drobonso, which shares a boundary with Agogo, over the years served as a safe haven for nomadic herdsmen who seek refuge in the area anytime they are pushed away from Agogo.

But Nana Dwamena told police delegation led by the Deputy Regional Commander, DCOP Adu Anim, he and his people have resolved to forcibly evict the herdsmen if the government fails to act on their demands.
Dressed in war smock (batakarikese), with a ceremonial single-barrel gun, whilst the youth of the town were clad in red in support of the move, he warned the community can no longer co-habit with the nomads.
The community is the latest in the Ashanti Region to join the crusade calling for the evacuation of cattle from their lands.
Nana Dwamena is also unhappy that none of the several complaints lodged against nomadic herdsmen, including rape at the Drobonso police station and Kumawu District police command has been prosecuted.
The police team was in the community as part of investigations into the killing of two police officers.
Deputy Regional Commander, DCOP Fred Adu Anim, says the issue would be given the needed attention at the highest level.
