After the cancellation of Nigeria's friendly game with Ghana by FIFA, SL10.ng can exclusively report that talks are already under way between Nigeria and two other Nations namely South Africa and the Ivory Coast to replace Ghana.
Already Nigeria will tackle Bolivia on March 26 at the Uyo township stadium in Akwa Ibom State Nigeria and the tie with Ghana was suppose to follow that three days later.
However the March 29 date for Nigeria's friendly against Ghana in London was cancelled by FIFA who forbids nations from playing two friendly games across two continents in three days.
Not wanting that date to pass by without playing a game, the NFF opened discussions with South Africa and Ivory Coast to see the possibility of playing a game on the same date proposed earlier.
Unlike the game with Ghana which is expected to take place in London, the tie against South Africa or Ivory Coast will take place in Africa to stay in line with FIFA rules on friendly games.
The NFF is expected to make an announcement on which team the Super Eagles will be playing as replacement for Ghana before the end of this week.
