Black Stars mercurial mid-fielder, Michael Essien has been cleared to feature in the Stars' crucial World Cup qualifier against Mali on June 7.
He was a major doubt for the match, following a court suit filed against him by his ex-girl friend.
After three appearances in court, with Thursday being the last, Essien’s lawyer, Nene Abayatei told Joy Sports reporter Tony Bebli, the Chelsea star is now ready to feature for the Black Stars.
Essien admitted he was saddened by the turn of events but was hopeful he will get back into the groove and be focused ahead of the clash.
He will be joining his colleagues in Tamale, who are due in Bamako, venue for the qualifier on Friday.
Meanwhile, a 27-man list is expected to be released tomorrow by Coach Rajevan Milovan.
Usual suspects to make the Mali trip, include John Mensah, John Paintsil, Samuel Inkoom, Kwadwo Asamoah, Opoku Agyemang, Prince Tagoe and Mathew Amoah.
Skipper, Stephen Appiah and Sulley Muntari are ruled out for personal reasons, whilst Asamoah Gyan will be out due to injury.
The Stars must get a good result against the star-studded Mali to keep their qualification ambitions on course.
