Female teacher 'caught having sex with student aged 17 in cemetery'

A substitute teacher has been caught having sex with a 17-year-old student in a cemetery, say police.

Kelly Aldinger, 49, has appeared in court amid allegations she was found with the teenager in a car at a graveyard in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Police say officers discovered the pair together during their evening rounds.

Aldinger was reportedly working as a substitute teacher at Easton Area High School when she met the student, who cannot be named for legal reasons.

"The relationship started approximately a year, year-and-a-half ago, and the juvenile victim was a student at one time of Ms Aldinger," Lt. Matthew Gerould told ABC7NY.

According to police, Aldinger has admitted having sex with the teenager several times since autumn 2015, but police do not believe others were involved.

She has been charged with institutional sexual assault with bail set at around £35,000.

Aldinger, who works for a company called Source4Teachers, has been suspended from her teaching role.
