The debate is getting heated up on Joy Prime’s Ghana’s Youth President as the candidates battle it out to the top, arguing out solutions to delicate and pressing issues in our society.

In an episode scheduled to air this afternoon at 1 pm, all three governments identify the interconnection between social phenomena like poverty, poor quality of education and poor sanitation and have developed policies to help tackle these social depressions.

A commitment to prioritising youth development for sustainable development and creating a separate youth ministry, which would focus and harness the potential of the youth by implementing comprehensive, multifaceted and innovative programs.

These and more are some of the many policies proposed by the Fabian government, lead by President Kamal-Deen Abdallah Ibn Chambas.

His government will also provide a more effective institutional framework for empowering the youth for national development.  

To combat the causes of poor sanitisation, the Yaa Asantewaa Government, per their “Segregate for a Price” policy will provide an attractive incentive for every 25kg load of segregated waste collected by community members.

President Lady Louisa Antwi Akowoah added that there will be the provision of separate waste bins for easy hauling of collected waste. This would be achieved through our PPP which is in line with their ASAASE YAA PROJECT.

Rema Jacob Boateng of the Osagyefo government expresses grievance, saying that it is pathetic to know that for the over 60 years of independence Ghana still has school children still sitting under trees to learn or class rooms in deplorable conditions.

Continuity of existing structures in deplorable State, the introduction of the track system to identify intensely affected schools and the partnership with NGO’S to build more infrastructure are some policies his government believes will, to a good extent resolve this social phenomenon.

Seasoned judges on the panel, Doctor Kuku Biney and Nii Boi Annan (Chartered Accountant) help bring into perspective the relevance of these policy ideas the candidates bring up.
