Gateway Broadcast Services (GBS) an international communication agency has acquired the rights to broadcast the lion's share of Barclay's Premier League matches and to also roll out its services in Ghana.
The broadcast will also be undertaken in 48 countries across the African continent.
GBS currently has coverage rights in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana and Mauritius and has confirmed planned launches for Ghana, Angola, Burundi, Ethiopia, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimbabwe over the next couple of months.
Rhys Torrington, GBS's Commercial Director told GNA Sports in Accra that further expansion to cover Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Gambia and the Francophone countries has been targeted for the end of the year whilst coverage of the whole of sub-Saharan Africa is fixed for mid next year.
"GBS is uniquely committed to making the competition accessible to more fans than ever before by proving that world-class programming that should not be the preserve of only the elite.
"GBS is here for the long term and our promise to Ghanaian and African football fans is to deliver the best of the Barclays Premier League at a much more affordable price."
The service includes 80 percent of all Barclays Premier League matches for 48 countries in the sub region.
He said there would be up to eight live matches per week on G-Sports One and Two and all the top matches influencing the top of the table, relegation and European competition qualifications.
