GCB Bank has rewarded its first set of 10 monthly winners under the ongoing Pa To Pa Promo, as the bank steps up efforts to deepen customer loyalty and encourage a stronger savings culture.
The presentation ceremony, held in Accra, marked the first monthly draw since the promo was launched in December 2025. Winners walked away with a range of household and electronic appliances, with the top winner taking home a 75-inch smart television.
Speaking at the event, the Executive Head of Retail Banking at GCB Bank, Sina Kamagate, said the promotion was designed to reward customers for doing what they already do, saving and transacting with the bank.
According to him, the Pa To Pa Promo gives customers the opportunity to earn points for every deposit made, with each GHS300 deposit translating into a point. The more customers save, the more points they accumulate, increasing their chances of winning.
“This promo was launched to give our customers the opportunity to play among themselves and stand a chance of winning prizes every month, with the ultimate reward being an all-expenses-paid trip to the Americas to enjoy the World Cup,” Mr Kamagate said.

He explained that the promotion is inclusive, extending beyond active customers to dormant account holders, who earn points simply by reactivating their accounts.
“For customers whose accounts have been dormant for about two years, we are saying come back home. Once you reactivate your account, you earn a point. We are helping our customers build points by saving money and also by staying active with the bank,” he noted.
At the end of each month, customers with the highest accumulated points are selected as winners. The top three winners for the first and second months receive 75-inch televisions, while other winners receive items such as microwaves, fridges, air conditioners, gas cookers and tablets.
Mr Kamagate added that the monthly rewards will continue until April, ahead of the grand draw in May 2026, where five customers will win an all-expenses-paid trip to watch the FIFA World Cup in the United States and Canada.
“Four of the winners will be selected purely based on points, while one winner will be chosen through a raffle. Even a customer who has deposited just 300 cedis can still stand a chance through the lucky draw. This is to show that we are an inclusive bank and we reward customers based on their relationship with us, not just the size of their deposits,” he said.
The National Lottery Authority, which by law oversees consumer promotions, supervised the draw. A representative of the Authority, Nancy Brew, confirmed that the promo and the selection of winners were conducted in line with regulatory requirements.
“The NLA has authorised this promotion, and the winners and rewards presented today are a true reflection of performance,” she stated.
GCB Bank’s Internal Audit Supervisor, Wilhelmina Asiamah, also assured customers of the integrity of the process, indicating that the bank’s internal audit team thoroughly reviewed the dataset of depositors before winners were confirmed.
“The internal audit department reviewed the entire dataset, and the winners selected are deserving winners,” she said.
Also speaking at the event, Dr Emilia Sackey highlighted GCB Bank’s broader customer-focused strategy, noting that the bank continues to invest in digital platforms to make banking more convenient.
She said customers can now open accounts digitally, request Visa or Mastercard services without visiting banking halls, access salary advances of up to 80 percent instantly and benefit from reduced loan interest rates, currently at 19 percent.
Dr Sackey added that products such as the Link-To-Home account have also made it easier for Ghanaians living abroad to save and invest back home.
Winners at the ceremony came from different parts of the country, reflecting the nationwide reach of the promotion. They included Abigail from Kejetia in Kumasi who won a tablet, Berima from Matetsu in the Eastern Region who took home a washing machine, Abdul from Prestea in the Western Region who won a smart microwave and Jerry from Dzorwulu who emerged as the top winner, receiving the 75-inch television.
The Pa To Pa Promo runs until May 2026, with GCB Bank encouraging both existing and new customers to participate by saving consistently and staying active on their accounts.
