The events witnessed the presence of some senior members the Ghana Journalists Association which included Madam Yaa Oforiwaa Acquah, Mr Koby Asmah, Mr Gabbie Bosompim, Madam Betty Apau Oppong and Mr Isaac Nuamah Yeboah.
At Faith Needy Children’s Home Mr Dwumfuor served inmates with hot meals and assorted drinks.
He also donated varieties of food items which included bags of rice, gallons of cooking oils, cartons of soft drinks, toiletries, detergents and medicines from Tobinco Pharmaceuticals.

Additionally Mr Dwumfuor presented a cheque of GH5,000.00 to the orphanage's management to support its budget.
A similar donation was made to the management of the Faith Needy Children’s Home.
The beneficiaries thanked the GJA president for the kind gesture and promised to use the donation for its intended purpose.
In his remarks, Mr Albert Dwumfuor commended the management of the two orphanages for their passion for humanity, adding that his decision to make the donation was to extend some Christmas cheer to the inmates of the orphanages.
He expressed worry about how journalists have failed to highlight the plight of orphanages such as Faith Needy Children’s Home.
He therefore tasked journalists especially members of his association to do well to highlight challenges of minor and isolated orphanages across the country.
