Basake Holy Stars and Aduana Football Club played out draw in the final game of the first round of the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams thrilled fans to a 1-1 scoreline at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinase.
Holy Stars were hoping to upset the Ogya boys and record their sixth win at home this campaign.
However, Bismark Tey’s equaliser late in the game was only enough to salvage a point for the newly promoted side.
Aduana had their noses in front in the 33rd minute after the game after Alex Boakye scored from the penalty box to make it 0-1.
The away side went into the break in the lead and came back from recess a side willing to take all three points.
Despite their resilient performance in the second half, Holy Stars drew level through Tey who scored in the 88th minute.
The game ended 1-1 after full time halting any chances of either of the side taking all three points.
The result Holy Stars still in ninth place while Aduana also sit 12th on the league table.
