Sixty-five days ago, the world witnessed an enthralling experience at Africa’s biggest disc jockey event in its 12th year glory – an assembly of some of the finest entertainers behind the boards, celebrating achievements of young men and women who play key roles in the diversity of music and arts.

The enthusiasm has promised to elevate in the 13th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, slated for November 29, 2025 - and that is exactly 300 days away from today, February 2. The celebration, dubbed Shake the Floor will take place at the Palms Convention Center, sponsored by the country’s leading total beverage company, Guinness Ghana and powered by Smirnoff.

Over the past 12 years, Guinness Ghana DJ Awards has become a true global phenomenon that connects people from every corner of the world through the universal language of music. It has highlighted talents from different parts of the world including USA, Denmark, Brazil, United Kingdom, South Africa and France.
As the countdown to November 29 continues, it is noteworthy to mention that the 2025 edition of the revered awards show will unveil detailed series of events that seek to further solidify the relationship between celebrated DJs and music fans in Ghana and beyond. The theme draws inspiration from the dance floor experience — where music transcends barriers, unites people, and creates lasting memories.

The role of hardworking DJs in music, arts and African culture demographics cannot be overstated in this year’s celebrations where music and magic will converge to create an unparalleled experience. Thus ‘Shake the Floor’, a perfect theme for the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, will provide insight into the craft and expertise of talented DJs who do not only curate music but uplift communities through sound and energy.
