Two weeks after calling his club "unprofessional", Hearts of Oak's boss believes his players are "not yet immature".
The coach did not did speak derogatorily, however, and was at pains to praise his boys after their 1-0 victory against Great Olympics in the Mantse Derby.
But with the Phobians squandering many chances, Addo did not mince words, as usual, in the post-match conference.
“You saw the chances we had. Our players are immature in a way [and] they are building. Hopefully the day everything comes [together], we will score ten goals."
"So the most important thing is to keep creating chances which is our main weapon at least one will go in."
In the interim, the coach wants his team to be resolute at the back, while scoring at least a goal per game. “If we can tighten up and close the game up, then we can get our three points which is very important.”
Hearts lie eighth on the league log, trailing leaders AshGold by nine points.
The treble dream is on
Hearts are currently competing on three fronts; the Premier League, the F.A Cup and the Elites Cup and stand every chance of annexing all three.
“My target was four cups,” he said last week.
“So now minus one, it is left with three and therefore that is where our focus will be. Everything in front of us, we have to go for it.”
“I hope we get better luck with the other three remaining cups.”
The Phobians are also in the last four of the MTN FA Cup where they will face either Medeama or WAFA.
