Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC), Dr Kwadwo Afari-Gyan says he will honour any invitation by the Justices of the Supreme Court if invited.
He described as frivolous claims that he has gone into hiding to avoid any humiliation in court in the ongoing Election Petition before the Supreme Court.
Dr. Afari Gyan’s comment is in reaction to a query by Justice Dotse, one the Judges sitting on the Election Petition of his whereabouts .
But in an interview with Ekosii Sen producer Dominic Kissi Yeboah via mobile phone, Dr. Afari Gyan said he will be in court when the substantive case begins.
He noted that as the Returning Officer for the 2012 election he has nothing to hide and is ever ready to go to court if needed.
The EC boss said he is always in his office working and therefore found it strange speculations in the media that he has travelled abroad.
