The Chamber of Independent Power Producers, Distributors and Bulk Consumers (CIPDiP) has congratulated the new Chief Executive of the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo), Ing Mark Awuah Baah for his appointment.
According to the Chamber, it has the confidence in his ability and believe in his competence and managerial acumen to lead GRIDCO at this period.
“While congratulating Ing. Awuah Baah, we wish to express our confidence in his ability, competence and managerial acumen to lead GRIDCO at this period in our country's economy”, it said in a statement.
“It is our expectation that as an industry person with years of experience at the management level of GRIDCO, Ing. Awuah Baah will be willing to engage all relevant stakeholders including Independent Power Producers in finding lasting solutions to the challenges affecting the industry”, it said.
“Our expectation is that his tenure will bring transparency and innovation to the sector”, it pointed out, adding “CIPDiP wishes him peaceful and productive tenure”.
Ing. Awuah Baah assumed office as the CEO of GRIDCo on 23rd July, 2021.
Prior to his appointment, Ing. Mark Awuah Baah was a director in charge of Systems Operations of the company.
