NDC supporters in Ahafo-Ano South in the Ashanti Region Region have locked up the offices of the District Chief Executive.
The DCE, Thomas Kwakwa is currently in Accra, attending a conference for metropolitan, municipal and district chief executives.
But a group of irate NDC youth Friday morning besieged his office, calling for his removal.
They are accusing him of flirting with the opposition NPP and neglecting them.
But the DCE Thomas Kwakwa has told Joy News the call for his removal is unjustified.
Touting his credentials, Mr. Kwakwa said “within my one year three months in office I have completed 21 projects.”
“How then will they say that I will lead the party to doom?” he quizzed.
He accused the aggrieved supporters of conniving with the Assembly’s secretary to unseat him, adding he has done nothing to warrant the treatment being meted out to him.
