Morocco's King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has issued high-level directives for the dispatch of emergency humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinians, particularly residents of the Gaza Strip.
In a statement released Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates confirmed that the aid package totals nearly 180 tons.
It includes essential food items, milk and children’s products, as well as medicines and surgical supplies for vulnerable communities.
The support also comprises blankets, tents, and other critical equipment.

The humanitarian assistance will be delivered through a specially organised route to ensure rapid and direct access to the Palestinian population.
This effort is part of Morocco’s ongoing demonstration of solidarity and the firm commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the Palestinian cause.
In March 2024, Morocco pioneered a landmark initiative by sending approximately 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The shipment was transported by air to Tel Aviv and then delivered by land through Israel, making Morocco the first country to successfully implement a land-based logistical route to Gaza and Al-Quds.
