In his appreciation for making his works more visible during the TGMA period, King Promise has promised to sponsor a master's degree programme for Tilly Akua Nipaa, his Public Relations Officer for the Telecel Ghana Music Awards campaign season.
This announcement was made during an interview on Accra FM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
"I like Tilly. I believe that she did a good job. I was talking to my managers a while ago, I think she's gonna go do her master's and I want to pay for it. Because she's done a great job.
She's contributed very well to what we did," he said.
In a build-up to the Telecel Music Awards ceremony, King Promise appointed Tilly to handle his publicity and market his works to the Board, Academy and Public. Tilly rolled out a number campaign strategies to advance the King Promise agenda.
King Promise beat off competition from Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Black Sheriff, King Paluta, Team Eternity and Kwaku Smoke to win the most covetous award of the TGMA - Artiste of the Year.
Apart from the Artiste of the Year award, he also took home the Afropop Song of the Year with 'Paris', Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year, and Album of the Year with 'True to Self' at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
Tilly Akua Nipaa (Matilda Mensah Marfo) is a Ghanaian media personality widely known for her exploits as an entertainment broadcaster and panelist on some of the biggest creative arts and lifestyle shows in Ghana.
With a degree in Psychology, English, and Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana, Tilly Akua Nipaa has built an enviable brand as fluent, intelligent and formidable voice in the Ghana's media space contributing positively to platforms like Peace FM (Entertainment Review), TV3 (The Trendz), and Hitz FM (Showbiz Review Xtra).
Her wealth of knowledge in new media and its dynamics, has made her a force to reckon with online, running her podcast T Means Talkative Podcast.
