The 11th edition of the Music Is My Life Concert in 2026 has further cemented its status as one of Ghana’s most significant live music events, drawing more than 10,000 fans to Big Base Pub in Tema Community 2 for an all-night celebration of sound and culture.
Returning to its spiritual home, the concert delivered hours of high-energy performances, with music lovers braving the heat and long hours to witness a showcase that blended star power with emerging talent.
Mubarak Nkrumah, known as K9, Chief Executive Officer of Mimlife Records, had earlier promised a “first-of-its-kind” experience, and the line-up lived up to expectations, combining A-list performers with rising acts.
Lasmid warmed up the crowd with a soulful performance of his hit song “Olivia”, leading a mass sing-along.

Sister Deborah made a surprise appearance, thrilling patrons with her popular track “Africa Madonna”.

In a night packed with heavyweight performances, Sista Afia stood out with one of the most commanding sets. Her electrifying delivery and run of chart-topping songs underlined her place among Ghana’s leading female performers.

Mimlife Records artistes Kimilist and Mista Myles also made strong impressions. Kimilist brought raw street energy and tight crowd control, while Mista Myles impressed with a confident and polished stage presence that reflected his growth as an artiste.
Kweku Smoke delivered a hit-packed performance that further confirmed his reputation as one of the most exciting acts on the scene. The Asakaa Boys, represented by Jay Bahd, Reggie, Kwaku DMC and Skyface SDW, injected the gritty energy of Kumerica drill into the Tema crowd.

One of the biggest moments of the night came with Sarkodie’s return to the Music Is My Life main stage. The rap icon thrilled fans with a journey through his catalogue, climaxing with a viral Azonto dance that sent the packed venue into a frenzy.

As dawn approached around 5:00 am, King Promise made a surprise appearance. His high-energy performance of global hits revived the remaining crowd and brought the concert to a memorable close.

Reflecting on the event, Eric Asmah, General Manager of Mimlife Records, said: “We are extremely excited to have provided the Tema community with a show of this magnitude. The overwhelming support drives us, and we promise an even bigger and more innovative approach for next year.”
Since its inception, Mimlife Records has grown into a respected force in the music industry. Beyond music production, the label’s commitment to community impact through major live events continues to make the Music Is My Life Concert a defining pillar of Ghana’s music culture.
