Sarkodie was unaware that self-styled doomsday prophet Ebo Noah would mount the stage at the 2025 Rapperholic concert, the rapper’s official DJ, DJ Mensah has disclosed.
One of the biggest surprises during the 2025 December in GH festivities was the appearance of Ebo Noah at Sarkodie’s flagship concert. Noah had earlier prophesied that a flood would occur on the same day and had announced plans to provide arks ahead of the supposed disaster.
Following Ebo Noah’s appearance on the Rapperholic stage on December 25, 2025, many questioned why Sarkodie would give the controversial figure space on such an esteemed platform to continue what critics described as stunts.
However, speaking to Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Sarkodie’s official DJ, DJ Mensah, clarified that the rapper had no prior knowledge of Ebo Noah’s presence at the event.
“Sarkodie was not even aware he was coming,” he told host Kwame Dadzie.
“Sometimes we have to surprise Sarkodie, it’s the event organizers,” he added.
Meanwhile, Ebo Noah has since been arrested, prompting Sarkodie to comment publicly on the development. The rapper questioned the basis for the arrest, stating that Ebo Noah was merely engaging in content creation rather than committing a crime through his prophecy.
Sarkodie shared a video of Ebo Noah in handcuffs being escorted into a police vehicle on Instagram on January 2, 2026.
He added the caption “Don’t know exactly what my boy’s crime is, but from day one I knew he was making content, unless he’s been charged with something else.”
Ebo Noah went viral in the latter part of 2025 after predicting a three-year flood which he claimed would destroy the world, beginning on December 25, 2025.
He shared several videos on social media showing himself constructing wooden arks in parts of the country.
