Lifeahead Vision Ministries, a faith-based organisation has marked its third anniversary in a grand celebration at its headquarters in Tema.
The event, which attracted congregants, community leaders, and religious stakeholders, was a moment of reflection, vision casting, and reaffirmation of the ministry’s mission to empower people beyond spiritual growth.
Speaking during the celebration, the Founder and President of Lifeahead Vision Ministries, Dr. David Kofi Mawuvi Wuaku, emphasised that the ministry is not just a church but a movement—a transformative platform designed to uplift individuals in various aspects of life.

“Lifeahead Vision Ministries is not just a church; it is a movement. And it is not just a movement, but a platform to help many people,” Dr. Wuaku declared.
He outlined the ministry’s strategic approach to leveraging modern technology to reach a wider audience, especially through virtual platforms. According to him, all church services, including evening sessions, are now available online via Facebook Live, making it easier for people across the globe to participate.
Dr. Wuaku highlighted one of the church’s unique initiatives, Vision Sunday, which is held every third Sunday of the month. Unlike traditional church services that focus solely on preaching and worship, Vision Sunday is dedicated to addressing critical global and political issues that affect young people.
“We dedicate one Sunday—the third Sunday in every month—to dealing with critical political and global issues. We talk to young people about how they will face them and how they will deal with them,” he explained.
This initiative, he noted, aligns with the ministry’s commitment to holistic human development, ensuring that faith is integrated with practical solutions for real-world challenges.

Dr. Wuaku also announced ambitious expansion plans for Lifeahead Vision Ministries, stating that the church is merely one platform among many that will be used to empower communities through education, professional development, and media engagement.
“We will be setting up schools. We will be setting up professional works. Lifeahead Vision will be coming out with radio and TV stations in the future to provide opportunities to many people,” he revealed.
According to him, these projects will not only serve members of the ministry but will also be open to the broader community, ensuring that Lifeahead Vision Ministries becomes a significant player in education, vocational training, and media influence in Ghana and beyond.
In a spirit of unity, Dr. Wuaku extended an open invitation to other churches, organisations, and individuals to participate in Lifeahead Vision Ministries' programs and initiatives.
“Anybody can follow us online. Anybody can visit our church. Anybody can attend any program we are organising,” he said, reinforcing the ministry’s inclusive and open-door approach.
He further encouraged other churches to join in the training programs that Lifeahead Vision Ministries will be rolling out, emphasising that the mission is bigger than any single congregation—it is about collective transformation.
As the ministry moves into its next phase, Dr. Wuaku assured congregants and stakeholders that a lot of initiatives are on the horizon, but the leadership is taking things one step at a time to ensure sustainability and effectiveness.

“We will be doing a lot of things, but one thing at a time. The church is just a platform for spiritual development in line with Christian values,” he noted.
He stressed that Lifeahead Vision Ministries believes in empowering people through the power of Christ while using practical platforms to nurture talents, support professionals, and transform communities.
The 3rd anniversary celebration concluded with special prayers, thanksgiving, and a renewed commitment to the ministry’s vision. Many congregants expressed excitement about the future of Lifeahead Vision Ministries, noting that Dr. Wuaku’s leadership continues to inspire a new generation of believers who are not only spiritually grounded but also socially and politically aware.
